According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, this visit marks a new chapter in academic-industrial engagement, aimed at exploring mutual capacities and laying the groundwork for sustainable partnerships.

Research and Technological Cooperation:
The parties emphasized implementing joint research projects, utilizing industrial sabbatical opportunities for faculty members, leveraging research and technology tax credits, and providing special support for postgraduate theses aligned with the needs of the tire industry. -
Student Empowerment and Knowledge Exchange:
Key areas of agreement included creating targeted internship opportunities for students, granting scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students, and organizing skill-enhancement courses. Furthermore, it was decided that distinguished engineers from Barez Company will conduct specialized seminars at the university to transfer technical knowledge and practical experience.
Comprehensive MoU on the Agenda
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides stressed the necessity of drafting and signing a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to operationalize the agreed-upon initiatives. In this regard, the university's Director of Industry and Community Relations extended a formal invitation to the senior management of Barez Company to visit the university for further high-level deliberations.
