According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, the provincial working group meeting was attended by a group of academic and executive officials and representatives of scientific institutions in the province.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Bahman Bahramnejad, the university's Vice President for Research, emphasized the key role of research in national development, stating, "In addition to honoring top researchers and technologists, we must use the capacity of this week to increase motivation among researchers and strengthen the position of applied research."
Subsequently, Mr. Abdullah Mahmoudkhani, the representative of the Governor's Office, explained the event's organization and announced, "According to the guidelines, the honorable Governor, Dr. Arash Zarehtan Lahoni, has been appointed as the Head of the Research and Technology Week Committee, and the President of the University of Kurdistan, Dr. Adel Si-o-Se-Marde, has been appointed as its Secretary." He called on the members to work together to ensure that Kurdistan province ranks among the top three provinces in the country in this field.

Based on the decisions made, Research and Technology Week will be held from November 22 to December 3. A provincial technology market exhibition will also take place on November 30 and December 1, with the participation of the Science and Technology Park and provincial universities. This event will be a valuable opportunity to showcase scientific capacities, foster interaction between researchers and executive bodies, and strengthen the innovation infrastructure in Kurdistan province.
